I have the same problem. My ex and I were dating for 10 months and were friends with benefits 10 months after that aswell.. I then started dating my current boyfriend which I have been with for 8 months. I hated my ex but he sent me a text 2 days ago explaining alot so I started talking to him and asked my current bf if it was alright.. He said yes and then I had a fight with the c bf and saw my ex for an hour yesterday.. Now my current bf is really hurt but he said he knows i wont do anything with my ex but he hates my ex because they knew each other from TAFE . I dont know what to do because my current says he doesnt want me and my ex to stop talking because then his afraid him and I will break up and he doesnt want us breaking up over something silly. Im in a no win situation so now im prob going to stop talking to my ex again.

Sorry to say it guy, but it’s very likely she’s been checking this new person out while you two were still dating, and that’s why she decided to end things with you. Things just don’t end like that for no reason.

My advice? Get over it. Even if she did happen to take you back, she’d probably only do it again. It’s hard to get over women like that, yeah, but you have to. Otherwise, she’ll know she can use you like that. She isn’t using him, she was using you. Well… She’s probably using him, too. That’s beside the point. They’ll take all your attention when they want it, and then ignore you when they don’t.

Just stay calm. Relax. Learn from what happened and grow as a person. And find someone better. A year and a half is nothing. We have plenty of years in our life. Live them. Don’t waste them worrying over… Some petty girl.

Thank you for your comments! I found this very helpful. The important thing to consider is the ‘end’ of your actions. I don’t think you will ever greet your ex just for the sake of greeting your ex. You most probably (still) want that person back, be sorry to, or get revenge. For friendship’s sake? I don’t believe that too. In the end, I opted not to greet my ex. Time to grow up and move forward in both our (separate) lives.

The facts are true, my husband is a physician who has treated numerous domestic violence acts. Nearly half of these injuries are sustained by husbands, many defending their children from violent women. Weapons, including knives, cars, sticks and even guns have been used. Anyone who believes getting stabbed/shot by a spouse or girlfriend or hit with a blunt object by your wife, as per Men don’t tell, is comical, must see some sick humor in abusive and neurotic mothers injuring or killing their children. Both are symptoms of women that don’t belong in a free society.

She has a stone heart, if she can forget you in 1 week , and enjoy *** with a new bf , knowing that my bf is wishing to get me back, True lovers try to compromise till the end of the relation, BY THE WAY, making gf is not the answere to your worries, I suggest be a one girl’s man get married and love her respect her and get same from her for ever….. I’m on the other end. My ex gf dumped me last month and is back with an old boyfriend who treated her poorly. I am very hurt by how things went down and yesterday I got an email wishing me merry christmas and thanking me for being an influence in her life. Talk about adding salt to the wounds! She knows how hurt I am and how much I was looking forward to spending Christmas with her and her family. Brutal!! If there’s hurt, don’t say anything!!!

So I’m going threw a weird situation I need your help to see if there is anyway to get back with my ex. When I was in 8th grade I meet this girl she really liked my cousin back then but after he didn’t pay attention to her she stopped liking him. So time passed and I moved to a different town for a year. I then return to my hometown in the middle of my freshman year. Me and her started to talk and some weird way I went up to her and asked her to go out with me. At first she thought i was a joking but then she realized it wasn’t a joke. So she said yes. But at the moment she was going threw a rough time she had lost a really important friend. So after like 3 weeks she broke up with me. She asked me if I was ok with it and I said well yea but the only reason I said that was because if she didn’t want to be with me what the point of begin together. But days passed by and I realized I missed her a lot and let the perfect girl of my life slip threw my hands. We stared talking again like before. like nothing had happen. I was going to ask her out again about 7 months latter but she liked this other guy a lot she told me herself one night we were talking so I told myself it wasn’t the time to do it. I was going to ask her sooner but at the moment I had to much pride and my friends told me to forget her because I was really hurt and I had a lot of pain inside somedays i felt like ripping my heart out. So Now it’s my junior year just a week ago I was talking to her and she told me the guy pretty much left her hanging and said no and stopped talking to her in my mind I said to myself the fool he was letting this girl go but I felt good Because I had a chance now. But I don’t know how to ask her out again or how to do it. So since now a vol. Fireman now and we have a dinner coming up which they do every year I was wondering if I should take her there. What should I do?
